The pandemic didn't stop our celebration. We had a virtual celebration to bring the community together. On Juneteenth 2020, we held our first Virtual Umoja: Black Graduation Celebration. The theme: Say It Loud: WE Black and WE Proud. It was a community celebration to rival none other on ISU's campus. This year will be no exception. Get ready for a virtual celebration. The plans are still in the works but the date is set for May 8, 2021, at 7 pm. We are still looking at various vendors and platforms for the event, but we are getting it ready.
